  13. Xenon is a heavy and extremely rare gas. It is inert, meaning it does not 
  14. react with other elements and has an octet atomic structure. It is colorless, 
  15. odorless, and tasteless. Xenon is used in high-speed photography for lamps that
  16. produce intense, short flashes of light. Xenon flash lamps are used to 
  17. activate ruby lasers. It was the first noble gas to combine with other 
  18. elements in 1962 by Neil Bartlet (that was previously thought to be 
  19. impossible.)
